The Collaborative Action Table of Connected Youth of Québec (CATCYQ), an initiative of the Virtual Guardians Foundation, invites young people aged 14 to 25 to take part in an interactive event on the future of digital technology in Québec. The first edition of the Great Connected Youth Discussions will take place on Saturday, November 16, at UQAM, offering a unique platform for young voices to be heard on crucial issues.
Jean-Christophe Filosa, Coordinator of the Digital Outreach Workers at the Virtual Guardians Foundation, explains the importance of giving young people a voice:
The digital world is the everyday playground of our youth. The Great Connected Youth Discussions represent a unique opportunity to transform their experiences into concrete action. As Coordinator of the Digital Outreach Workers, I witness every day the urgency of including their voices in these critical discussions about the future of Québec.
An event by and for young people
This free and inclusive gathering offers a dynamic program including:
- Discussion tables on current topics: digital majority, online mental health, inclusion, and digital creativity.
- A creative arts activity allowing participants to express their ideas in an original way.
- A free lunch and discussion session encouraging open exchanges in a relaxed atmosphere. A tangible impact on public policy
